You Can be a FiddleStar
I post things about fiddling. And how we can all be better at it.
Scenes from the studio today… We can’t guarantee you won’t hear a few snores on the new record. #sirwinstoncup #bostonterrier #bostonterriercult #banjo #oldtime
Just pulled some #biscuits out of the oven. #sausagegravy not pictured. Our favorite recording engineer @brandonbostic is on his way over. @strngbrnr74 and I are making a fiddle banjo record today! #oldtime #banjo #fiddle #biscuitsbeforetunes
#tbt to December of ‘91 when @eilynejusteilyne and I got invited to the youth society event of the season - the “Holiday Party” in Redding, CA. Oh boy we thought this was a big deal. You can tell how important we thought it was by the size of our hair. And there was a professional photographer and kids sneaking in booze and parents who controlled the guest list like a Buckingham Palace wedding. #90skids #smalltownlife

Goodbye #baltimore it’s been fun. Don’t let all those things people say about you get you down. You’re still #charmcity to me. #motherdaughterroadtrip (at Southwest Airlines at BWI)
And then here we were when the #oaklandathletics went down 17-2 in the 6th. #turncoats #givingup #motherdaughterroadtrip #baltimore #gameday (at Oriole Park at Camden Yards)

I am excited to embark on a new chapter of my working life - I recently gave my notice to the Pam Tillis organization and will no longer be touring with her or Lorrie Morgan (on their awesome Grits and Glamour Tour). I must admit, I'm sad to be leaving. It's been an incredible four years and I have learned so much. Thanks to Pam, her amazing husband/manager Matt Spicher, and my bandmates, especially the lovely and talented Mary Sue Englund, with whom I spent more time over the last few years than I did with my husband. And I wouldn't trade a minute of it...
