Almost ten years ago I was introduced to the incredible Sylvia Harrelson Ganier (by my friend Casey Henry) and I knew from that moment that she would be an ongoing inspiration in my life. In the last few years she has turned her small herb and vegetable CSA into one of the most well-respected and innovative farms and event centers in all of Tennessee. I’ve bought bushels of delicious produce and other local foods and products there over the years but I always get a lot more than that. I’ve learned to stay focused, develop your community, and follow your vision. It doesn’t hurt that Sylvia employs half of the East Nashville bluegrass scene to work in the store and play the weddings.
