At the end of each #nashvillesongwritercamp the winning co-writer group gets to record a demo of the song they created. Our favorite amazing engineer @brandonbostic brings in his mobile studio and teaches everyone about recording demos in a home studio setting and also records that demo. It’s a wonderful experience and this year’s song was a real gem. All the co-writer groups had really successful songs but everyone agreed this one was special. The writers were Merrill Burch, Gene Banks, and The Leo Hickman. They were coached by Jon Weisberger. #songwriter #nashville #demos (at Fiddlestar)

Holy wow. We got mentioned in @southwestmagazine which is the fantastic magazine in the seat pocket of our very favorite @southwestair planes. We didn’t even ask to be included. They found us! A few years ago @adamspickoftheday had the bright idea to expand what I was already doing with FiddleStar Camps and add other instruments, starting with flatpick guitar, and this adventure has changed our lives. And now Southwest Magazine seems to think we’re worthy of inclusion in a little story they did about living your wildest dreams. Funny thing, we like to think that’s what we’re all about.
