A family portrait I took at a Tillis Family Christmas show, late 2012. Watching and performing alongside Mel Tillis was a class in timing of every sort. Comedic, musical, lyrical, you name it, he was the best at it. His legacy lives on in all his talented children (only two of whom are pictured here - the rest are pretty spectacular too, by the way). We were lucky to have him entertain us through all these decades. He will be missed. #meltillis (at Florida)

Last night was one of the best camp nights evaaahhhh. @nateleellc and @hiltnerj came and jammed with everyone and then this bunch (plus Katie McBride for much of it) stayed up til I’m not saying when and sang songs and practiced harmonies and just generally nerded out on singing of all kinds. Lots of love for the @cartervintageguitars pilgrimage last night. The new sign is so awesome it refuses to be photographed at night.
