I saw a lot of amazing things tonight at the opening of the @officialcmhof American Currents exhibit. But none better than @missyraines showing off her very own bass and stage outfit, right there in the middle of it all. As a part of the First Ladies of Bluegrass, Missy is now in the freaking Country Music Hall of Fame and if you think this isn’t the best reaction shot photo series of all time, you’re wrong. I am so excited! @tristanscroggins made an EP (and I’m playing the fiddle on it) and it focuses on this very cool sort of cross picking mandolin style that you’ll want to learn how to do, if you play the mandolin at all. Or maybe even if you don’t. I won’t judge. You can also get the transcriptions to help you truly embrace the awesomeness. Oh, and Adam played on it and so did @tylerandal and @brandonbostic engineered it so basically I love everything about this whole project.
