You Can be a FiddleStar

I post things about fiddling. And how we can all be better at it.

It’s that time of year. By the way, in my opinion, this is the perfect way to experience wildlife. #ontheinsidelookingout #lunamoth #spring (at Fiddlestar)

Just out on an early morning walk - last couple of hours in #chicago I wanted to go inside this church but they only let you see it if you book a tour. Doesn’t seem very churchy to me. Sorry, I’m super judgmental at this hour… 😊 #churchlockout #juxtaposition (at Holy Name Cathedral, Chicago)

The ramps were frozen solid and I guess the ramp salting guy overslept because they wouldn’t open the park until 5 minutes before game time and luckily there are only 20,000 people instead of the 40,000 people it holds because we managed to get inside by the 3rd inning but it’s all ok because they gave us these hats. #soxgameday #chicago #whitesox (at U.S. Cellular Field)

24 years ago I was a college freshman sitting around in a friend’s dorm watching #liveatpompeii on VHS, never thinking that all these years later I’d get to stand on the spot where it was filmed and then several months after that get to see #davidgilmour play all those songs live. It was a magical night. #chicago #rattlethatlock (at United Center)

I am excited to embark on a new chapter of my working life - I recently gave my notice to the Pam Tillis organization and will no longer be touring with her or Lorrie Morgan (on their awesome Grits and Glamour Tour). I must admit, I'm sad to be leaving. It's been an incredible four years and I have learned so much. Thanks to Pam, her amazing husband/manager Matt Spicher, and my bandmates, especially the lovely and talented Mary Sue Englund, with whom I spent more time over the last few years than I did with my husband. And I wouldn't trade a minute of it...
