The people at Dragonfly Screen Graphics in midtown Nashville are so kind and talented and most importantly, they make tee shirts and hats and other stuff for me at like a moment’s notice and consistently come up with new graphic ideas for the ten or more camps a year we’re hosting these days. The end of an era… I’ve owned a vintage diesel Mercedes (or three) since 2001 and today I’m donating my last one to @wpln through their car donation program. #carsintoprograms My mom and I drove this one from Hayward, CA to Nashville in March of 2005 (listening to @cjnightdrivers on Sirius the whole way) and it was my main car for my first seven years in town. Lots of back and forth from the north side to the Station Inn, to be sure. I will miss it. But I’m more glad to know that it’s going to support a radio station that supports the arts. My new series #thankfulthursday starts with @daddarioorchestral I am so grateful to them for providing me with the tools I need to do what I do for a living as well as to do what I love. I use Helicore heavy gauge strings on the A, D, and G and I use a Kaplan non-whistling E string. I also love the micro tuner and all the Planet Waves accessories (please humidify!) for my guitar and mandolin. They’ve been so kind to me and to our camps.
